Plexytrade Review 2026

Plexytrade, registered in St. Lucia with physical address listed in Montenegro, masquerades as a “secure” CFD and forex broker. Don’t be fooled by its polished claims of “safety” and “Tier-1 liquidity”—this broker is a regulatory ghost and far from being anything legitimate. Our investigation yielded the lowest possible 0.1/5 CLEAR™ Score due to the severe risks this broker poses, driven by illicit U.S. targeting, ties to the notorious LQDFX (CFTC Red List), and zero oversight. If you’re tempted by their 1:2000 leverage or “zero commission” promises, read this first—your money is on the line.

St. Lucia and Montenegro: No Regulation, Maximum Deception

Plexytrade lists registration in St. Lucia and its physical office address in Montenegro. However, our audit confirmed that they are not registered with the St. Lucia Financial Services Authority (FSRA) or Montenegro’s Central Bank.  In addition, St. Lucia is widely known as a notorious tax haven for unregulated brokers—just check how many St. Lucia based brokers appear on our Brokers Alert list, while Montenegro lacks a credible financial oversight framework. Our investigation also confirmed that Plexytrade holds no licenses from reputable Tier 1 regulators like the FCA, ASIC, or CFTC. To put this in simple terms: traders have zero client protection, and Plexytrade will face zero accountability.

U.S. Targeting: A Brazen Regulatory Dodge

Our broker investigations always begin with checking the website’s disclaimer as it offers immediate information regarding any regulations or lack thereof and whether there is anything glaringly misleading. Plexytrade’s disclaimer claims it does not solicit U.S. clients or operate in restricted jurisdictions; we’ve highlighted this section in red in their website screenshot below.

But a simple Ahrefs traffic audit of the Plexytrade website instantly exposed the lie: 99.8% of its organic traffic originates from the U.S., where CFTC and NFA regulatory licensing is mandatory. Legitimate brokers block U.S. IPs to comply with these regulations, we found that Plexytrade does not. Instead, it lures American traders with the promise of offshore tax haven and bonuses like the “120% Cash Bonus” and “PlexyPower 100% Tradeable Bonus,” classic hallmarks of offshore churn-and-burn schemes.

LQDFX Acquisition: A CFTC and FCA Red List Time Bomb

Plexytrade acquired LQDFX in 2024, a broker blacklisted by the CFTC for illegally targeting U.S. traders. LQDFX earned its spot on the CFTC’s RED List by flouting U.S. laws, refusing to return client funds, rigged spreads and peddling fake licenses. Acquiring a RED List broker isn’t just reckless, it’s a confession of guilt by Plexytrade who knew exactly what it was buying: a blueprint for exploiting traders and all they did was add a fresh coat of paint. LQDFX’s unresolved complaints—clients locked out of accounts, “bonuses” used to block withdrawals, trades mysteriously reversed—are now Plexytrade’s standard operating procedure. The CFTC’s warnings about LQDFX? They apply verbatim to Plexytrade: “These entities may be engaged in fraud.”

To make matters worse, there’s another top tier regulator that has raised the red flag. The FCA’s warning for LQDFX Alert pulls no punches: “Almost all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK must be authorized by us. This firm is not authorized by us and is targeting people in the UK.”  We’ll explain what they are saying in simple terms: LQDFX (and by extension, Plexytrade) isn’t just unregulated—it’s actively breaking UK law.

Our Pro Tip: If history repeats itself (unfortunately it will), Plexytrade’s clients will join LQDFX’s victims without having any regulatory framework to lean on. Avoid dealing with these brokers or seek legal assistance as soon as possible if you are already a customer.

Crypto-Only Funding: Alluding Transparency

Our investigation uncovered that Plexytrade offers only 2 types of payment options: Confirmo—which is a cryptocurrency payment gateway, or through direct crypto deposits suucg Bitcoin, ETH, USDT, etc.). This is a well-known tactic adopted by unethical brokers with the purpose of obscuring money trails and evading chargebacks. While crypto is common at regulated brokers, pairing it with no traditional payment methods such as credit/debit cards or wire transfers is a red flag that cannot be ignored. If you’re trying to recover funds, get ready for a serious goose chase since crypto’s pseudonymity means your money vanishes into offshore wallets.

Our Pro Tip: Avoid any “broker” restricting deposits to crypto. Always demand regulated, traceable payment options.

TradeLocker: The Platform Favored by Unethical Brokers

There is a bright spot in our investigation, Plexytrade offers the renowned MetaTrader 4 and 5 platforms which are preferred by most professional traders due to their stability and extensive tool set. Having said that, it’s crucial to note that Metaquotes (the company behind MT4 and MT5) is ending relationships with US Brokers and Prop Firms that cater to US clients due to US regulatory squeeze. CFDs are illegal in the United States since they don’t go through a regulated Exchange like the Nasdaq or the Nyse. So why are these platforms still available for use on Plexytrade? We believe that MetaQuotes is not yet aware that Plexytrade primarily targets US customers but this honeymoon period will be short lived and eventually Plexytrade will forcefully shift traders to the other platform it offers—the notorious TradeLocker.

TradeLocker is a platform infamously favored by unregulated brokers for its lax compliance oversight and manipulation-friendly setup. There are currently no regulated brokers using TradeLocker and for good reason. It’s years behind in terms of innovation, stability and trading tools.

1:2000 Leverage: Severe Risk

Any broker which has your best interests at heart would never offer Plexytrade’s jaw-dropping 1:2000 leverage. To put that into perspective, it’s 500x higher than U.S. regulatory limits of 1:50 and 66x above Australia’s ASIC cap of 1:30. Such extreme ratios amplify losses exponentially and ensure traders liquidate their accounts faster, a sure win for Plexytrade’s profit model. This predatory practice is banned in regulated markets for a reason: it’s financial suicide. The fact that Plexytrade offers such high leverage leaves little doubt that it’s a market maker and that they’re trading against you. Not that we really needed this confirmation, there are too many other red flags here.

Bonuses: The Withdrawal Trap

The “120% Cash Bonus” and “100% Tradeable Bonus” are classic withdrawal barriers used by unethical and unregulated brokers. Terms buried in fine print require traders to hit 100,000 units of volume ($10M notional) at Plexytrade before accessing bonus funds. Statistically most traders fail, forfeiting profits and deposits along the way. Remember, when you blow out your account they simply keep your money. Nothing is getting executed on the real market. It’s for this precise reason that top tier regulators like the FCA ban such incentives and it is our duty to state that Plexytrade’s bonus peddling confirms its predatory intent.

Action Steps for Plexytrade Traders

Always choose a regulated well-known broker that has passed the CLEAR™ score. However, that only happens in a perfect world as brokers like Plexytrade are designed to trap newbies. If you’re currently entangled with Plexytrade, you must act swiftly:

  • Document Everything: Save trade histories, deposit proofs, and communication such as phone, chat or email. The more evidence you can gather the stronger your case will be down the line.
  • Report to Authorities: U.S. traders should file complaints with the CFTC, the NFA, and police authorities. International traders should alert their local regulators and authorities. You’re likely not the first case they heard about so they may share with you where proceedings stand and what’s the likelihood of fund recovery.
  • Blockchain Forensics: You might be in luck tracing crypto deposits via firms like Chainalysis if your deposit was sent to KYC-compliant exchanges. This is a long shot but worth a try.
  • Legal Pressure: Subpoena TradeLocker for ownership records and all KYC they have on file for Plexytrade.
  • Strategic Withdrawal: Feign interest in larger deposits to coax partial withdrawals. Remember they are after your money first—so play it smart.

Our Verdict for Plexytrade

Plexytrade is a wolf in regulator-free clothing, which means it’s on the hunt for easy targets (newbies). It received the lowest possible 0.1/5 CLEAR™ Score which accurately reflects its ties LQDFX (CFTC Red List), crypto-only funding, and reckless leverage. Add to the mix, illegal U.S. targeting and TradeLocker’s shady reputation, and it’s easy to conclude that this broker is working against you. This verdict is clear as daylight, avoid Plexytrade like the plague.
