HankoTrade Review 2026

HankoTrade is an offshore foreign-exchange and CFD broker operating the consumer-facing brand at hankotrade.com. The CFTC RED List filing names the corporate entity as Hanko Trade Ltd with an origin of Seychelles. Third-party broker registries also reference a Belize HankoTrade Ltd entity. The brand has been active since 2017. HankoTrade holds no Tier-1 licence anywhere: no FCA, ASIC, CySEC, BaFin, SEC or CFTC authorisation. Deposits are crypto-only across BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC, XRP and USDT.

One primary-source regulator filing frames everything that follows. The United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission added Hanko Trade Ltd to its Registration Deficient (RED) List on 07 July 2022 for soliciting and accepting funds from US customers while acting in a capacity that appears to require registration. The CFTC press release announcing the batch describes 34 foreign FX and binary options platforms added at the same time. Industry coverage of that batch appeared in Finance Magnates. Four years on, the HankoTrade entry has not been removed.

Our CLEAR investigation gave HankoTrade a Failed score of 0.30 / 5, placing it in the severe-risk band alongside MTrading and Plexytrade. The most measurable concern is the most direct: Ahrefs data from 04 June 2026 shows the United States accounts for 11,592 of HankoTrade’s 13,240 monthly organic visits, 87.6 percent of all traffic, despite the operator already being on the CFTC RED List specifically for unregistered solicitation of US customers since July 2022. The CFTC Has HankoTrade On Public Record

One public regulator filing defines the compliance ceiling for any conversation about HankoTrade. It is a primary-source document from a Tier-1 authority. It names the entity and the origin directly. And it remains on file as of 2026, almost four years after first publication.

CFTC RED List, 07 July 2022

The CFTC RED List is the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s public list of foreign entities soliciting US customers without registration. The Hanko Trade Ltd entry was added 07 July 2022 as part of a batch of 34 foreign platforms. The CFTC names the entity as Hanko Trade Ltd, gives the origin as Seychelles, lists the type of offering as Foreign Exchange and Digital Assets, and states the firm appears to require CFTC registration and is not registered. Four years on, the entry has not been removed and the operator has not registered with the CFTC.

Seychelles FSA: HankoTrade Holds No Authorisation

The Seychelles Financial Services Authority licensing register does not include HankoTrade or Hanko Trade Ltd as an authorised securities or virtual-asset service provider. The Seychelles FSA recently issued warnings against other offshore brokers using Seychelles registrations without authorisation, including the Hugo’s Way Ltd warning of 07 November 2025. The pattern is consistent: a Seychelles entity name on a corporate filing does not equal a Seychelles authorisation.

Corporate Stack: Seychelles Entity, Belize Alternative, Crypto Rails

The corporate paperwork behind the HankoTrade brand is split across two offshore jurisdictions. The CFTC RED List entry names Hanko Trade Ltd with origin Seychelles. Third-party broker registries also reference a HankoTrade Ltd Belize entity. The Seychelles FSA does not authorise this operator. The Belize International Financial Services Commission does not authorise this operator. The funding-methods page lists six cryptocurrencies and no card or bank rail. The combination of two offshore registrations, crypto-only deposits, and a CFTC RED List entry against the named operator forms a structurally complete picture for retail-investor risk.

Ahrefs Audit: 87 Percent of HankoTrade Traffic Comes From the United States

Live data from the Ahrefs API for hankotrade.com on 04 June 2026: Domain Rating 39, 3,155 live backlinks across 676 referring domains, 58 ranking organic keywords with 48 in the top three positions, 13,240 organic monthly visits, and no paid traffic. The geographic distribution is the point.

Country breakdown of those 13,240 organic monthly visits: United States 11,592 (CFTC RED-listed since 2022, 87.6 percent of all traffic), United Kingdom 231 (FCA target market, unauthorised), Canada 218 (CSA unregistered), South Africa 123 (FSCA unauthorised), India 109 (SEBI restrictions), Germany 89 (BaFin and ESMA ban), Australia 79 (ASIC 1:30 leverage cap), Netherlands 60 (AFM retail ban), Nigeria 51, Vietnam 46 (SSC unauthorised), France 41 (AMF retail forex ban), Italy 33 (CONSOB unauthorised), Jamaica 30, Spain 27 (CNMV warning track), Kenya 26. The United States alone delivers more traffic than every other country combined by a factor of more than ten.

The Smoking Gun: The CFTC Filing vs. 87 Percent US Traffic

The CFTC RED List entry of 07 July 2022 documents the United States regulator’s conclusion that Hanko Trade Ltd was soliciting and accepting funds from US customers while acting in a capacity that requires CFTC registration. The Ahrefs data of 04 June 2026 shows that the same operator’s consumer-facing domain receives 87.6 percent of its organic search traffic from the United States. The two artifacts together establish that the conduct identified by the CFTC in 2022 was not corrected. Four years of continuous Tier-1 watchlist exposure and no apparent corrective action.

Pro Tip from CleaRank: Treat any broker whose country-level traffic contradicts its own restriction policy as if it has already failed regulation. CLEAR-certified Tier-1 brokers like IC Markets, Fusion Markets or Darwinex use real IP-blocking and KYC gates to enforce country restrictions because their Tier-1 licences require it.

Payment Rails: Crypto Only, No Chargeback Path

HankoTrade accepts deposits in six cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, and USDT. There is no Visa, no Mastercard, no SEPA, no Faster Payments, and no domestic bank rail in any major jurisdiction. That single design choice is structural: crypto deposits remove the Visa or Mastercard chargeback mechanism that lets a retail client recover funds from an unfair charge. Combined with a $10 minimum deposit and 1:500 leverage, the rail architecture is built to onboard quickly and to make recovery difficult.

Smart Pro Tip: If a broker only accepts crypto, mobile wallets, or local rails outside the Visa or Mastercard network, that is a structural sign the operator is trying to evade chargeback protection. Stick to Tier-1 brokers that take SEPA, Faster Payments, Visa, or Mastercard, and verify them with the CleaRank Broker Risk Scanner before depositing.

Customer Complaints: Withdrawal-Block Reports And A 2024 Fyntura Redirect

The complaint record on HankoTrade is documented across Forex Peace Army, WikiFX, and Reddit. WikiFX rates HankoTrade 1.56 out of 10 with no valid regulation badge. Forex Peace Army scores 2.59 out of 5 with active withdrawal-block threads documenting specific dollar-value cases: $16,700 stuck in withdrawal queue, $260,000 trader withdrawal blocked, $30,000 to $50,000 range cases, and a $1,100 small-account block. In February 2024 HankoTrade emailed customers asking them to transfer their funds to Fyntura, a separate offshore broker. The reasoning given was vague. The Fyntura redirect generated additional complaint threads and is consistent with the offshore phoenix pattern: when one operator front gets too much heat, customers are nudged to a fresh front under a different brand.

Action Steps If You Are Already a HankoTrade Customer

Stop depositing immediately. Do not add another cent regardless of any bonus or recovery promise.

Preserve every record. Save deposit transaction hashes, MetaTrader account statements, chat logs, KYC submissions, every email and every screenshot.

File a chargeback fast if you deposited by Visa or Mastercard. The dispute window is typically 120 to 180 days from the deposit date.

Report the firm. UK: FCA Report an unauthorised firm. US: CFTC SmartCheck. Canada: Ontario Securities Commission. EU: your national regulator and ESMA.

Avoid recovery offers. Anyone offering guaranteed fund recovery for an up-front fee is a second-layer concern. Legitimate chargeback and regulator-complaint paths do not require an up-front fee.

Our Verdict for HankoTrade

HankoTrade’s 0.30 / 5 CLEAR Score reflects an operator that has been on a Tier-1 regulator public list since July 2022 and continues to receive 87.6 percent of its organic search traffic from the same regulator’s home jurisdiction. CFTC RED List entry of 07 July 2022 not removed. Seychelles entity not authorised by the Seychelles FSA. Belize alternative entity not authorised by the Belize FSC. Crypto-only deposit rails. WikiFX 1.56 out of 10. Forex Peace Army 2.59 out of 5. February 2024 Fyntura redirect episode. The structural risk profile is severe.

Avoid HankoTrade. For real ECN execution under a Tier-1 regulator, use a CLEAR-certified broker such as IC Markets (ASIC), Fusion Markets (ASIC), or Darwinex (FCA). Verify any broker through the CleaRank Broker Risk Scanner before depositing.

HankoTrade FAQs

Is HankoTrade regulated?

No. HankoTrade holds no Tier-1 licence anywhere. The CFTC added Hanko Trade Ltd to its public RED List on 07 July 2022 for unregistered solicitation of US customers, and the Seychelles FSA does not authorise this operator. There is no FCA, ASIC, CySEC, BaFin, SEC or CFTC authorisation anywhere on file.

Who operates HankoTrade?

The CFTC RED List filing of 07 July 2022 names the operator as Hanko Trade Ltd with an origin of Seychelles. Third-party broker registries also reference a HankoTrade Ltd Belize entity. Neither offshore registration carries a Tier-1 retail forex authorisation.

Why is HankoTrade on the CFTC RED List?

The CFTC concluded the firm was soliciting and accepting funds from US customers while acting in a capacity that requires CFTC registration. The entity was added on 07 July 2022 as part of a batch of 34 foreign FX and binary options platforms. Almost four years later the entry remains on file.

What happened with HankoTrade and Fyntura in February 2024?

In February 2024 HankoTrade emailed customers asking them to transfer their funds to Fyntura, a separate offshore broker. The reasoning given was vague. Several Forex Peace Army threads document the migration request and the resulting complaints. The episode is consistent with the offshore phoenix pattern.

Is HankoTrade safe?

No. With a 0.30 / 5 CLEAR Score, a CFTC RED List entry that has not been removed in four years, no Tier-1 licence anywhere, crypto-only deposit rails that remove the chargeback mechanism, a WikiFX score of 1.56 out of 10, and documented withdrawal-block reports in the four-figure to six-figure range, trading with HankoTrade means accepting zero investor protection and very limited functional recourse if funds are blocked.

Can I withdraw funds from HankoTrade?

Forex Peace Army threads document specific dollar-value withdrawal-block reports: $16,700, $260,000, $30,000 to $50,000, and $1,100 cases. WikiFX rates the broker 1.56 out of 10. The structural design (crypto-only deposits) removes the chargeback mechanism that lets a retail client recover funds via Visa or Mastercard.

Does HankoTrade accept US clients?

HankoTrade has been on the CFTC RED List for unregistered solicitation of US customers since 07 July 2022. Despite this, Ahrefs data from 04 June 2026 shows the United States is the source of 11,592 of HankoTrade’s 13,240 monthly organic visits, 87.6 percent of all traffic. The structural pattern that triggered the 2022 RED List entry is still in place in 2026.
